Scott Miller – Contractor and CEO: 

 

     Scott has been a Palm Springs resident for over 20 years. He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge, class of 1976. He holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Economics and Finance.

 

     Scott worked in all phases of construction continuously for 30 years including 5 years as the Budget Director for Purnel Construction, until Ray Purnel’s untimely death. Scott believes strongly in the business principles he learned from Ray… Honesty, Integrity and 100% Transparency in all transactions.

 

     Scott is very proud of his two children. His son Cody is working in wealth management and is preparing to sit for the CPA Exam. His daughter Kimberlee is well along in her Psychology Internship and will soon earn her MFCC Degree as a practicing Psychologist.

 

 

Manuel Fabian – Field Supervisor:

 

 

     Manuel("Fabian") was born in Yuba City, California and was raised here in the Coachella Valley. He graduated from a corporate training program with a Certificate in Personnel Management from a major national company. He has more than 15 years of experience in the Construction Industry, 7 of those exclusively in remodels. He is also an Independent Framing Contractor.

 

     He Began with Purnel Construction in 2006 and has made the transition to escondero with Scott, Roberto and Francisco. As a Field Supervisor Fabian is dedicated from beginning to end to your project, making sure everything is done immaculately, as if your home were his own.

 

     Oh yes, and he is the Proud Papa of seven children!

 

 

Francisco J. ‘Pancho’ Garcia – Journeyman/Head Carpenter:

 

     Francisco began his construction training more than 2 decades ago in Mexico. He has developed a wide range of skills including but not limited to Footing, Framing, Painting, Drywall Installation and Finishing, Plumbing, Tile Installation, Demolition and Electrical Wiring.

 

     Francisco worked alongside Roberto for over 2 years at The Construction Zone, for over 6 years at Purnel and for 3 years here at escondero. He was a Goldsmith in his home town for 12 years before learning the Construction Trade, and says “The same craftsmanship I used working in gold, is the level of craftsmanship I use on all of your construction projects.” A GOLD STANDARD indeed!

 

     Francisco has been married to his wife Gloria for 25 years and they have three children – Christian, Andrea and Francisco Jr.

 

 

Miriam Alario – Projects Assistant:

 

     Miriam joined escondero in 2012 Bringing with her 30 years of theatrical lighting design and set-up, set construction, budgeting and crew supervision experience, as well as previous retail management, and bookkeeping.

 

     Her transition into Residential Construction Support gives escondero the benefit of another fresh and creative eye, as well as utilizing her talents for organization, project completion within tight time-frames, and for finding alternate supply resources. Miriam wrangles our Office Management as well as the Property Management Division.

 

     She is the mother of an adult daughter, and more recently a ‘Gramma’.
